Recommended: up to 30 seconds. Maximum: 60 seconds. This is guidance, not a hard lock.

Votes = Visibility

Community votes can lift your entry higher on the leaderboard and make it more visible on the page.

Alex Chooses Winners

Alex Misko personally selects 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the performances. The leaderboard does not decide the winners.

Manual Approval

Every submission is reviewed manually before it appears in the public gallery or leaderboard.

Timeline

Submissions close on April 30, 2026. Winners are announced on May 1, 2026 here and on Alex's social platforms.

Eligibility & Moderation

Entries that ignore the one-riff, one-submission rule, fail ownership checks, or do not fit the contest format may be declined during review.

By submitting, you confirm you own the rights to your performance and allow it to appear on the contest page and winner announcements. Winners must provide valid contact details so prizes can be delivered.
